Welcome back, makers!

When surrounded by such a creative team, I’ve gained so much appreciation when a concept is brought to life! As creatives, there isn’t a mentor, no checklist, no rules to follow, just following your gut. However, with persistence, patience, and tons of practice, you can achieve anything you want! As makers, we can all relate to this, to think back to where we started off and how far we’ve come with our newfound skills. So, let’s take a moment and give yourself a pat on the back for everything you’ve accomplished!

#AGFMakersSpotlight - Stephanie from Bookends Quilting from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Hi Makers,

One of the most amazing things about being a part of the quilting community is that we inspire each other! Thanks to social media, we creators get to share our art with the world and open our eyes to new techniques and designs. Being a part of Art Gallery Fabrics, I understand the impact good quality fabrics have on those who cherish their quilt art! We are constantly inspired by you as much as you inspire us.

That love of warmth, foliage and the bright colors of her youth are on full display in Aerial.

Her career as ...

I love how the rulerwork defines each diamond and the topographic stitch within each block make it look like the blocks are radiating out from the center.

We cover how to do each technique in detail with some play-by-play descriptions so you can give it a try on your own ...

Quilts with stars and over 50 one-block quilt patterns from Pieced Brain

Quilts with stars and over 50 one-block quilt patterns

I love quilts with stars, whether they are pieced, paper pieced, or appliqued. I have made them entirely with stars, such as this Christmas quilt, or mixed with alternating blocks. Here is my latest star quilt block, which is going into a sampler quilt.

Two of my friends and I are making star quilt blocks which will be later turned into a quilt. We were supposed to meet every month and exchange blocks, but life is getting in the way. I did make another block, though, and I think it came out so cool!

I was looking for 12-inch star ...
